Recent snowfall helps boost overall coverage, but it is not enough to increase avalanche hazard. Most slopes are free from avalanches due to a shallow, weak snowpack. You might find areas of stiff wind-drifted snow in the alpine, but any avalanches in these areas will be small and isolated.
