Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE with a higher hazard on the east side of the continental divide where it appears more new snow has fallen. Strong winds and new snow have formed soft slabs on weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs will be easily triggered on steep wind loaded aspects. Natural avalanche activity is possible.
