Highlights
At upper elevations isolated pockets of dense surface slabs formed by southwest winds lie upon slick old snow surfaces and weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs could be triggered today by skiers, snowboarders or snowmobilers in cliff areas and steep wind loaded starting zones. Low hazard does not mean NO hazard.
