Highlights
Pockets of soft surface slab up to three feet in depth exist at the mid and upper elevations. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered by humans and could step down to deep old snow surfaces or the ground especially in cliff areas and in steep wind loaded starting zones. Yesterday a skier triggered a three foot deep slab on a easterly aspect at an elevation of 9,200 feet in the Southern Teton Range.
