Expect spring-like, generally safe avalanche conditions on Thursday and into Friday. Morning crusts will soften, but afternoon winds and clouds keep wet snow problems confined to only a few inches deep, for a short time near mid-day. Start and end your day early. If you're on snow in the afternoon, move off steep slopes if you sink past your ankles in your boots.
