At the upper elevations isolated pockets of shallow wind slab formed by northerly winds exist and in isolated areas on very steep shaded aspects, pockets of dense slab up to two feet in depth may have some potential to be human triggered in extreme terrain. The potential to trigger these slabs will increase as the day warms. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid and lower elevations.
