Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations strong west winds have created dangerous unstable conditions. Human triggered slab avalanches are likely on steep slopes. Surface slabs up to three feet deep lie upon slick old snow surfaces. Deep instabilities persist. Humans who venture onto steep slopes are likely to trigger these surface slabs and could trigger full depth hard slabs. Natural avalanche activity is possible.
