Highlights
The general avalanche hazard at all elevations will be low in early morning hours and increase to moderate in the late morning and to considerable in the afternoon. Mid and upper elevation temperatures at 5 AM this morning were 11 to 17 degrees above yesterdays 5 AM readings. Sunshine and warm air aloft will combine to rapidly weaken the snowpack today. Wet slides are likely on steep snow covered slopes on a variety of aspects especially in the higher peaks and sunlit cirques and basins of the Teton Range.
