Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong west winds and dense new snow are creating unstable conditions. Soft slabs up two feet in depth lie upon slick old snow surfaces and weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs are likley to be easily triggered and could release naturally in steep wind loaded avalanche prone areas.
