Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Unstable soft slabs up to three feet in depth lie upon a weak faceted snowpack. These slabs could be triggered by riders and skiers in steep wind loaded avalanche prone terrain. Expected new snow and strong winds this afternoon will deposit new surface slabs that although shallow will be sensitive to riders on wind loaded slopes and could pull out deeper layers of snow.
