Avalanche Summary

Higher elevation slopes facing northwest, north, and northeast are harboring the most reactive snow layers and are likely places to trigger a massive slide. Other aspects are less problematic but far from safe, so don't let the nice weather lull you into riskier decisions. You probably won't see any signs of instability before you trigger a slope directly or from a distance away. Safer travel options exist on south-facing slopes in the morning before the sun makes them warm and wet, or low-angle terrain without steep slopes overhead.
