Avalanche Summary

Heavy snow on Tuesday and Tuesday night will increase the chance that you can trigger a large avalanche that breaks near the ground. Avalanches can be triggered remotely and from the flats beneath steep slopes. Wind-drifted slopes are the most dangerous slopes and the most likely place for you to trigger an avalanche. You'll find these drifted slopes directly below ridgetop or on the side of a gully.
