Highlights
At the mid and upper elevations, temperatures dropped well below freezing overnight and the snowpack is mostly stable. With the exception of some very shallow wet, loose sluffs in the afternoon, avalanches are unlikely at all elevations.
Avalanche Discussion
Some snow showers will linger over the mountains overnight. Skis are expected to clear on Tuesday. In the mountains temperatures will rise into the 30s from overnight lows in the teens. Winds are forecast to be light from the northeast.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely.
