Intensive precipitation. Danger level 4 (high) will be reached.
The new snow and wind slabs represent the main danger. Large to very large natural avalanches are possible in particular in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation. The new snow and wind slabs can be released very easily. Avalanches can penetrate down to the ground. Gliding avalanches can also occur.
As a consequence of new snow and a strong wind, large wind slabs will form. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack. The rain will give rise to increasing and thorough wetting of the old snowpack in particular at low and intermediate altitudes.
The weather will be partly cloudy. Light precipitation.
