Snow and Weather

I've not yet begun issuing regular advisories for the Abajo Mountains due to lack of coverage. The good news is that the mountains picked up about a foot of snow since Friday morning. In all but the upper elevation north faces this new snow fell on bare ground so over snow travel for recreation purposes is still a ways out. An unstable weather pattern looks like it will continue through the first part of the month so keep your fingers crossed for more significant snow. In the meantime you can stay abreast of current weather and snow totals with the links below.

Snow totals at Buckboard Flat (8924')

Snow totals at Camp Jackson (8858')

Wind, temperature, and humidity on Abajo Peak (11,000')
