This period of settled weather has helped provide stability into the snowpack, with slightly warmer days and cold nights providing the freeze to the current snow structure. It is still possible that instabilities may exist in very isolated wind slab at higher elevations. Considerations are still needed for safe travel, thinking about the slopes you are planning your routes on, and the slopes that exist above you when traversing at lower elevations. Conditions will still be varied due to the previously firm conditons across the mountian, use caution if venturing heading into the alpine.
