Fair ski quality was found on smooth planar slopes in the alpine consisting of recrystalized snow on a hard surface.
No new avalanches reported or observed today.
The surface consists of a hard surface and crusts that overly a generally well consolidated snowpack. The Jan 24 and Jan 3 surface hoar layers are mostly decomposed and can be found down around 15cm and 50cm respectively, producing hard resistant planar results.
Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and cloud and a high of -6c. Winds will be moderate from the West.
