Cold temps are facetting out the upper snowpack but good skiing it still being found!  popular areas are starting to get tracked up.

Weather Forecast

Temperatures are expected to warm up slightly on Sunday and we may see a few small flurries along the divide.  On Monday a weak front will cross the region giving us 5-7cm of new snow. Winds are still forecast to be in the light to moderate range out of the SW.

Avalanche Summary

Loose dry slides out of steeper unskiable terrain.

Snowpack Summary

Very little change out there right now.  Winds increased into the moderate range above 3000m and have created pockets of windslabs at higher elevations.  The only other noteable change out there right now is that the snowpack is continuing to facet out with the cold temperatures.  Thinner snowpack areas are becomming unsupportive so its something to be aware of...
