Highlights
Avalanches will be unlikely on Wednesday. This doesn't mean that we should throw caution to the wind. Small pockets of instability may exist on isolated slopes. Continue to use safe travel techniques and evaluate the snow as you move into new elevations or onto different aspects.
Avalanche Discussion
Clearing on Tuesday allowed for some much needed observations from higher elevations. Sunday's rain took it's toll on our snow, leaving now frozen runnels up to nearly 8000 ft. Monday night provided a hard freeze and a stout melt-freeze crust exists through the majority of our terrain. At 7200 ft. the height of snow was 90 cm.
