Cooler northwestern flow bringing unsettled weather. There may be some light precip throughout the day, mostly from convective activity. Temperatures will remain cool in the alpine with moderate winds from the SW & W.

No new observations from last 24 hrs.

Snowpack Summary

Storm snow from the last storm has been redistributed into soft slabs on lee features. More prevalent in the alpine near ridgecrests. Treeline and below has 10-15 HN sitting on top of hard slabs on most aspects. Valley bottom is facetted yet still supportive in most areas.

30-40cm thick hard windslabs are being encountered on north to southeast aspects at treeline and above. Expect wide propagations due to the hard nature of these slabs.
Be aware of thin areas that may propagate to deeper instabilites.>
