Snowpack Summary

During Thursday's thaw, the precipitation was mainly snow but also rain in places. The snow that was the wettest then hardened with the refreezing to become a generalized crust that varied in thickness depending on the area (2 mm to 3 cm). A little snow, around 3 to 5 cm, was received on Friday on top of it.

The bare peaks and the upper parts of the couloirs have alternating ice and wind-pressed snow. In general, the height of the snow cover will vary from 70 to 90 cm in the valley to 100 to 150 cm in the mid-mountains.
