Avalanche Activity

The new snow and wind slabs represent the main danger.

The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular at the base of rock walls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain and at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack. Avalanches can be released by large loads.

Snowpack Structure

In some localities up to 20 cm of snow has fallen. Fresh wind slabs are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. Weak layers exist in the snowpack.

Tendency

The weather will be sunny at times.
