Avalanche Activity

Up to 40 cm of New fallen snow in some places, don't walk alone on steep meadows!

On steep meadows with blowing snow, an Avalanche can be triggered. As the weather clears and gradually thaws, the snow will become heavier, especially in the afternoon, and spontaneous creeps of wet snow will break out.

Snowpack Structure

Up to 40 cm of snow fell on the ground in Kobansko and 30 cm in Pohorje. Snowdrift accumulations have formed on the edges of meadows and near Ridge due to strong NE winds. Sunshine on Friday afternoon will dry the snow.

Weather Forecast

Saturday will be sunny, with clouds in the lowlands. Danger of spontaneous wet creepers will occur over low cloud cover in the morning and increase as the weather warms up in the afternoon. On Sunday, it will also clear in the lowlands, so creepers will also occur there. It will gradually warm up.

Tendency

It will clear from the west and north, with low clouds in the lowlands.
