Highlights
The avalanche danger is generally LOW today. Keep an eye out for wet avalanche activity during the heat of the day. If you are finding yourself punching deep into wet unconsolidated snow, avoid being on or below steep slopes.
Snow and Weather
Current Conditions: Overnight temperatures in the higher terrain were in the mid 20s. The snow should be frozen and locked up this morning. Southwest wind has been light.
Mountain Weather: We'll see a good amount of sun today and possibly a few clouds later on. High temperatures are goind to get to near 40 in the higher terrain. Tuesday looks similar and then it looks like we'll see a more stormy period for the end of the week. A foot of snow by Sunday night is possible. The weather pattern looks active and wet through the end of the current weather model runs.
