A MODERATE avalanche danger still exists on steep slopes above about 9500' on slopes that face northwest, north, northeast and east. HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THIS TERRAIN.

1. Wind drifted snow from Wednesday's windy storm may still be sensitive to a person along the more east facing ridgelines.
2. There is still a chance that a person could trigger an avalanche breaking into old sugar snow near the ground on the higher northwest, north and northeast facing slopes.

Outside of the terrain described above, the avalanche danger is generally LOW.

There was one snowmobiler triggered avalanche reported from Sunday. It was in Seely Creek out of Ephraim Canyon. The rider dropped in on an east facing slope at about 10,200' in elevation and triggered the avalanche. It was a short slope and he was able to ride off in front of it and wasn't caught. It was 2 1/2' to 3' deep and was at least 150'. This was most likely the result of the strong wind on Wednesday which drifted a lot of snow.
