Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. The snowpack will continue to thaw, but will be well consolidated and stable in all areas. Greatest accumulations will be on North-West through North to East aspects above 900m. Below this altitude, only patchy snow cover will remain and will diminish further through the forecasting period. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will remain well above the summits for the duration of the forecasting period. No precipitation is expected. Winds will be gale force from the West-South-West. Observed Weather Influences: A mainly dry day with gale to storm force West-South-Westerly winds. The freezing level rose to above the summits.
