Highlights

The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information about the snowpack, so that the avalanche danger should be investigated especially thoroughly in the relevant locality.

    Size
    1

    Stability: poor · Frequency: few

Avalanche Activity

New snow at elevated altitudes. From a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.

As a consequence of the new snow individual dry snow slides are possible. They are only shallow. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls at elevated altitudes.

Snowpack Structure

Some snow will fall until Wednesday in some localities. The wind will be moderate to strong in some localities in particular in the south and in the east. Above approximately 2200 m only a little snow is lying. At lower altitudes no snow is lying.

Tendency

Decrease in danger of dry avalanches as a consequence of warming. Slight increase in danger of moist avalanches.
