The patchy snow pack will mostly be on North-East through East to South aspects above 1000 metres. Elsewhere the ground will be mostly bare with limited patches and ribbons of old snow. Forecast Weather Influences: Continuing mild with spells of rain at all levels on strong becoming moderate generally Westerly winds. The freezing level will remain above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: A mild day with gale to storm force South-Westerly winds and occasional spells of drizzle at all levels. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack continues to thaw and consolidate and is generally stable throughout. The largest patches remain on North-East through East to South aspects above 950 metres. Elsewhere the ground is mostly bare with limited patches and ribbons of old snow. The avalanche hazard is Low.
