Weather Forecast

On Thursday, expect 2-5cm of snow accompanied by moderate to strong southerly winds and freezing levels at valley bottoms. Continued snowfall is expected for Friday with another 5-10cm, light to moderate southwesterly winds and freezing levels remaining in valley bottoms. Snowfall and winds should ease off with a clearing and cooling trend for Saturday.

Avalanche Summary

No avalanches have been reported in this region.

Snowpack Summary

We have insufficient data to create a reliable snowpack structure for this region. What little information we have suggests there is significantly less snow than in the N. Columbia region and many areas at treeline elevations and below may still be below threshold snowpack depths for avalanches to be a hazard.
