Snowpack Structure
Forecast Weather Influences: Although a light rain or sleet shower can\'t be ruled out it will be generally dry. The freezing level will be around the summits creeping downward during the day. Observed Weather Influences: It was a dry day with the freezing level rising to around 1200 metres. ObservedSnowStability: In the morning the snowpack was firm in all locations. It softened slightly through the day below about 1000 metres. Stability remains generally good throughout. The avalanche hazard is Low.
