Avalanche Activity

New snow represents the main danger.

Some snow fell in the last few days. New snow and wind slabs can in some cases be released, in particular by large loads. Small to medium-sized dry avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

25 to 30 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen since Friday above approximately 1600 m. In isolated cases new snow is lying on a weakly bonded old snowpack. In all regions only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year.
