Avalanche Summary

You can travel safely on most slopes because the snowpack remains thin and soft. Earlier this week, westerly winds drifted snow that built isolated spots where small stiff slabs lurk below ridgelines. Now several inches of fresh snow blanket these older drifts. If you find deeper pockets of hollow-feeling snow, skirt around those features.
