Highlights

DANGEROUS dense wind slabs up to three feet in depth exist at the mid and upper elevations. During the past two days some natural avalanches and numerous skier and rider triggered avalanches have been observed. Today these slabs may be triggered by the first person or after multiple crossings. Several close calls and at least one partial burial has been reported. At the lower elevations pockets of dense slab to 18 inches in depth exist on steep wind loaded aspects and were easily triggered yesterday. Human factors are important today. Good decision making and risk assessment skills are essential. Know when to say no!! .
