At the mid and upper elevations pockets of soft, surface slab up to two feet in depth and loose snow sloughs could be triggered by people venturing into avalanche starting zones, cliff areas and very steep terrain. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.

Light snow is expected Sunday night into Monday. Mountain temperatures will cool to the single digits by Monday morning then warm to the upper teens during the day. Winds at the ridge tops will be westerly at 20 miles per hour.Pockets of soft slabs to two feet in depth could be triggered by people at mid and upper elevations on steep, lee slopes in the Tetons. Cold, light density snow will be easily drifted onto lee slopes which will increase the size and danger of triggered slides. Areas near ridges subject to cross loading and areas near ridgetops should be avoided. The possibility persists for backcountry travelers to trigger had slabs to three feet in depth in areas with a thinner snowpack that is underlain by weak, faceted snow. The general avalanche hazard in all these areas is expected to be MODERATE.
