Avalanche Summary

New snow falling on a weak base means avalanche conditions will worsen as the snowfall accumulates. You can easily trigger an avalanche on steep northerly and easterly-facing slopes, where weak snow lurks below the storm snow. Choose southerly terrain where you find hard crusts below the storm snow to enjoy the powder.
