Avalanche Problems

Wind Slabs

The 10cm of snow earlier in the week has been blown clean from fetch areas and deposited in lee and cross loaded features developing hard slabs from 5 to 15cm thick. Highly variable snow conditions in wind affected areas.

Aspects: North, North East, East, South East, South.

Elevations: Alpine, Treeline.

Likelihood: Possible
