Recent snow is continuing to trickle in with 10-20cm (drainage dependant) of storm snow in the Alpine. The amount rapildy tapers below treeline though so dont expect much is the lower elevations. The snow is overlying a thick crust on all aspects expect north. isolated windslabs can be expected in the alpine on all aspects along ridgelines and immediate lee features. Â

- Recent wind has varied in direction so watch for wind slabs on all aspects.
- Watch for newly formed and reactive wind slabs as you transition into wind affected terrain.
