Snowpack Summary
A new crust is present on the surface of all the slopes due to the mild weather of the last few days which helped moisten the storm snow. It varies in thickness depending on its orientation to the sun which heated the snow deeper, making it more important in these areas with the refreeze. As for the generalized crust of February 17, it is now between 30 and 40 cm deep.
The middle of the snowpack is well consolidated with the January 18 crust.
At the base of the snowpack, there is a bread of laminated crusts with decaying snow.
In general, the height of the snowpack varies from 80 to 150 cm.
