No new avalanches have been reported.

A few very small, loose dry sluffs were observed by the field team last Wednesday, in steep shady terrain.

Conditions are generally safe, but even small avalanches can have serious consequences on steep features. It's important to stay alert while travelling in avalanche terrain.

Observations have been limited. Please consider sharing your observations through the Mountain Information Network.

Terrain and Travel Advice

  • Periods of low danger may be a good time to increase your exposure.
  • Watch for areas of hard wind slab on alpine features.
  • A hard crust on the snow surface will help strengthen the snowpack, but may cause tough travel conditions.
