Forecast indicates 10 cm of snow for Monday with strong winds.  Continued light snow with moderate winds for remainder of week . Freezing level up to 2000m for Monday and lowering for the remainder of the week.

Avalanche Summary

Numerous avalanches up to size 2 (72hrs old)  on solar aspects in the Alpine due to last week's warm temperatures.

Snowpack Summary

Very limited observations.  Snowpack depth up to 60cm at 2200m.  Suspect rain crust on most aspects except for high north aspects.  Wind loading in gullies and lee features.  Snowpack is below threshold below treeline.

Wind slabs are found along lee features and gullies in Alpine terrain.  Watch for fresh wind slab development as the storm passes through on Monday.
Avoid lee and cross-loaded terrain near ridge crests.Be careful with wind loaded pockets while approaching and climbing ice routes.
