Snowpack Summary

Minimal, crusty snow everywhere in the mountains. The snowpack varies in height from 0 to 35 cm at mid-mountain. At and below treeline, many areas are now uncovered, and there is no longer enough snow to produce avalanches at these elevations. In the alpine, isolated depressions and concavities retain a certain amount of snow.

Weather Summary

Synopsis: Little changes over the next few days, other than a drop in temperatures from Tuesday afternoon.

Monday evening and night: Cloudy. Wind west, 30-50 km/h. Low -3. Freezing at 450m.

Tuesday: Cloudy. Light snow or freezing drizzle possible in the morning. Wind northwest, 30 to 50 km/h. Temperatures falling and freezing level dropping at the end of the day. High -2, low -11.

Wednesday: Cloudy. Light northwest wind. High -5.

Thursday: Snow possible in the morning, then clearing. Light northerly wind. High -7.
