This is the final "formal" bulletin for the season. Over the next few weeks expect a wide variety of conditions. Avalanche danger will vary widely on a daily or even hourly basis so make careful evaluations when travelling in avalanche terrain.

Minimal freeze over the past few days combined with rain has caused numerous loose wet slides on all aspects just barely reaching into the Alpine. Some of these loose slides are stepping down and pulling out deep wet slabs at lower elevations.

Deep Persistent Slabs

"Warm days" are re-awakening some of the deeply buried weak layers at the base. There has been recent activity on this layer. These slides are proving to be very destructive taking out mature timber at the base of there normal runouts.

Wet Slabs

Loose wet slides are stepping down and releasing wet slabs failing at or near the ground. These slides are proving to be very destructive taking out mature timber at the base of there normal runouts.
