Forecast Snow Stability: New snow amounts are not expected to be significant mostly a very light dusting above 600 metres. Some very shallow windslab may develop on North-East to South-Easterly aspects above 900 metres. These new deposits are not expected to be deep or extensive. Elsewhere the wet snow areas will start to refreeze and be generally well bonded in most places. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Rain continues to fall at all levels during Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. Then the freezing level lowers to around 600 metres with light showers falling as snow above this altitude and the Southerly winds will ease becoming Westerly. Observed Weather Influences: Wet and mild conditions have continued to affect the area. South-South-Westerly winds were strong to gale force at times. The freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining patches of snow are present predominantly in the highest sheltered corries and gullies, the snow has been saturated by rain but is generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
