In the course of the day the wind slabs will increase in size moderately. These are mostly small but in some cases prone to triggering. They can be released in some cases, in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls on very steep slopes. In isolated cases the avalanches are medium-sized. Caution is to be exercised at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack.

In some localities 5 to 10 cm of snow has fallen. In all aspects snow depths vary greatly above approximately 2200 m, depending on the infuence of the wind. Below approximately 1800 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. On steep sunny slopes below approximately 2500 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack is not distinctly layered. Shady slopes: The snowpack consists of faceted crystals. As a consequence of rising temperatures and the occasionally moderate foehn wind, a sometimes unfavourable avalanche situation will develop.

The danger of moist avalanches will increase a little during the day.
