Forecast Snow Stability: Any new accumulations are not expected to bring about a significant change. Very limited snowpack. Isolated patches lie on North through East to South-East aspects, above 900 metres; these will remain stable, in all locations. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Snowpack Structure
Forecast Weather Influences: Remaining mild. The Freezing level will stay between 1200 to 1400 metres. Some light snow showers are possible at times, around summit levels. The winds will be moderate South- Westerly, increasing to strong West-South-Westerly by the end of the forecast period. Observed Weather Influences: It has remained mild with some overnight showers of rain, followed by a mostly dry day with a fresh South-Westerly airflow. The Freezing Level stayed above summit levels. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability. Isolated patches of snow only above 850 metres. Greatest accumulations lie on North through East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
