Snowpack Structure

In high Alpine regions less snow than usual is lying. Avalanches can in very isolated cases be triggered in the old snowpack reach medium size in isolated cases in particular on very steep northwest, north and northeast facing slopes. The danger of moist avalanches will increase but remain within the current danger level. They can occur in particular in starting zones where previous releases have taken place. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be concluded timely.
