The early morning will see favourable conditions, but the danger of wet avalanches will increase later. Significant increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation. Medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large natural moist avalanches are possible. In the event of an overcast night this applies in particular on steep sunny slopes. Intermediate altitudes,, in isolated cases also on very steep shady slopes. As the day progresses, a few gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be concluded timely. More recent wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence in particular on northwest to north to southeast facing aspects above approximately 2700 m. The prevalence of avalanche prone locations and likelihood of triggering will increase with altitude. Backcountry touring and other off-piste activities call for experience in the assessment of avalanche danger and caution.

As a consequence of a strong wind, sometimes large wind slabs formed in all aspects. The wind slabs of the last two days remain in some cases prone to triggering above approximately 2700 m. Low and intermediate altitudes: As a consequence of falling temperatures the snowpack consolidated during the last few days. The old snowpack will be generally stable. Less snow than usual is lying. On sunny slopes below approximately 2200 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. On Sunday on wind-loaded slopes several medium-sized avalanches were released. Below approximately 2800 m several small and medium-sized avalanches were observed.

The danger of dry avalanches will decrease. The danger of wet avalanches will already exist in the early morning.
