No new avalanches were reported on Thursday but observations are limited this time of year.
We expect that new rider triggerable slabs will form throughout the day.

New snow accompanied by strong southerly wind will form new storm slab with the largest being found on west through east aspects. This new snow will overlie a crust on all terrain except north facing at treeline and above.
Multiple crusts exist in the upper snowpack. Below this is a well settled snowpack.
Friday Night
Increasing cloud with trace amounts of new snow expected. Light southeast winds and freezing level around 1300 m.
Saturday
Stormy with up to 20 cm of new snow expected at treeline and above. Moderate to strong southerly winds and freezing levels rising to 1300 m with the snowline around 1000 m.
Sunday
Stormy with 30 to 50 cm of new snow expected. Strong southerly winds and Freezing levels rising to 1400 m. Snowline around 1000 m.
Monday
Mostly cloudy with up to 20 cm of new snow possible. Moderate southeast winds and a high of -3°C at 1200 m.
