The snowpack is mostly stable and conditions are generally safe. However, shallow pockets of wind slab, less than a foot in depth could be human triggered in very steep terrain and cliff areas. Be cautious of terrain that has exposure to cliffs or obstacles as even small slides can knock people over and become serious events.

Skies are expected to be partly cloudy overnight. Clouds will increase during the day and light snow is likely to develop in the mountains by evening. Temperatures will be in the single digits at day break and will rise into the 20s in the mountains and to near freezing in the valleys. Winds will be southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour.The snowpack is mostly stable. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW in the Teton and the Greys River/Southwest Trails areas were isolated pockets of shallow wind slab are a potential hazard and MODERATE at the higher elevations of the Continental Divide/Togwotee Pass area where deeper slabs lie upon a mostly dormant layer of buried surface hoar.
