Avalanche Summary
Expect generally safe avalanche conditions, but approach steep slopes with a bit of curiosity or skepticism. Thursday's rain and snow mix leaves behind a few inches of dry snow at the top of the mountains with a wet, hopefully refrozen snowpack in the valleys. Steer around steep slopes with more than about 8 inches of freshly wind-drifted snow. Move off steep slopes at lower elevations if you're sinking past your ankles in wet snow.
